Flower Crown: Expectation vs Reality

I discovered Rookie Mag during the week which encouraged my obsession with 90's teen culture. They have a fun tutorial entitled "Crown of Love" and after watching it, I went hunting for my glue gun.

Flower crowns. I probably should have pointed my ambitions towards Frida Kahlo rather than trying to look like Lana Del Rey but this week I attempted to make a Flower Crown. Devon and I went shopping for fun stuff to stick to headbands and I thought instead of going with pretty little white Baby's Breath~ I'll just go the whole hog and go for giant bright yellow Dahlia-style ones.
